I love this poem, written by local poet William Wilfred Campbell (1860-1918). Since today is the first full day of fall, and the weather here in Wiarton is nicer than it was for much of the summer, I thought this would be appropriate today. I love this ink for fall as well.
This ink is much more teal / green than in this photo. I’ll try retaking some pics and repost.
I chose this passage from Romeo and Juliet because it contains the word “pomegranate,” the English version of the French “grenade.”
I love the irony of the ink’s name — Jentle / gentle grenade.
I adore this little pen, and rose gold is a recent obsession of mine. 😉
This is probably my favourite pen and ink combo. The nib on the Pilot Metropolitan is very smooth, and Noodler’s Purple is my favourite shade of purple … and I’ve been testing out several purples …
